It's a similar idea to the Wii Fit, Gemma. I've had the Fit for a while, and it's fun... I find that I spend a lot of time playing balance games and don't really feel "worked out" though. The Active is cool b/c it includes resistance bands and works some toning exercises into the lineup. And it's super positive in terms of feedback, too! They both definitely have their high points... I still use the Fit to keep track of my weight b/c the Active doesn't have that function. You should try the Fit! It's very fun :)
